“For Three Babies”

When Bill and I decided that we were ready to grow our family, we thought we were prepared for the new challenge. Looking back, I guess we didn’t fully appreciate God’s power. I still get goosebumps when I recall the day that we learned we were having triplets. Shock, excitement, and fear filled our minds. How to care and provide for three babies seemed like an impossible challenge, while having enough love for all of them was never a concern. I have always said that God has a plan for all of us and our story shows that.

Taking pictures of special moments has always been important to me. While growing up, my mom was very diligent in keeping our family photo albums organized. Many of our pictures where snapshots taken with the family camera with an occasional family portrait. My husband and I are both lucky to have parents that helped archive our youth through pictures.

Now that my husband and I have our own children, my inner need for pictures has grown even more. I don’t want to miss a special moment that we have shared with the girls. Whether we are hiking, camping, fishing, playing sports, celebrating birthdays or just hanging out in the pool, I want to be able to look back at the fun we have shared.

Although I don’t go very far without my camera, I leave the family portraits to the professionals. I would be lying if I said that getting family pictures taken was easy because when the girls were little, that wasn’t always the case. Looking back though, I’m so glad that we made the effort to have the pictures taken. The pictures where my girls have missing teeth are now some of my favorite pictures I have of them.  We enjoyed Brett taking our pictures because he makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease. He is open to ideas and is just a great guy to hang out with. I look forward to working with him again.
