Tears filled my eyes as I heard my family and very dear friends shouting "surprise" when I walked into a room the weekend before my 60th birthday. Oh, what a surprise it was to see so many of my good friends, my immediate family, my best friend growing up and my very dear high school friends from Wichita that had traveled to Pittsburg to celebrate my birthday.
I was speechless, filled with emotion, and overwhelmed, to say the least. I loved seeing so many people I love from various walks of my life all in one room. It was the best.
All I could do was cry and then I wanted to hug every single person. It was a true blessing that my girls had not only planned the party, but had also arranged for Brett to capture it all on camera. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the priceless pictures he took that night with many people I have spent countless hours with but have very few photos with. I’m forever grateful that he was there and captured that priceless evening.
