I am confident in my own skin. I can look in the mirror now and say without hesitation that I’m proud of who is looking back at me. My self awareness has shifted from critical to more of an appreciation.
Being a woman is so powerful. Wearing lipstick is powerful. Being in charge of your own body is powerful. Being able to vote is powerful. Being able to give life is powerful. I love being a woman.
Career wise, I have so much more I can learn and perfect. Personally, I’m looking forward to being the best Aunt ever. I’d love to teach classes or have a YouTube channel teaching others what I love to do.

I’ve spent several years preserving the part of myself that is joyful and has a thirst for life. 2020 taught me that those things don’t always require an agenda and a bomb outfit. A good candle, the right music, and time to rest can be just as joyful.

This has been the hardest year I’ve experienced, since I was forced to spend so much time alone. But it also brought a new meaning to caring for others. It’s a priority now every time I leave the house.
I’m in a season of growth. Working on my craft, focusing on myself, making money. I aspire to be independent, have integrity and patience, and be kind to everyone. Part of that growth is realizing you have to make the decision every day to rise above anxiety, fear, and the urge to be complacent.
