“Many Small Factors”

After having children of my own I realized how important it is to have family photos. Before that, photos were mostly selfies and randoms taken with a cellphone and lost in Facebook albums. I have pictures from my childhood that are treasured, but few and far between.

I had discovered Brett’s photography page by chance just months before our daughter’s first birthday. This was more than just a birthday to us, though. After her month early arrival, and 3 week stay in the NICU, we celebrated every bit of our girl with immeasurable enthusiasm. Pictures were a must!

That was 3 years ago, and since then we have added another family member. Having photos of “a day in the life” gives my family and I the ability to look back at every year and remember what was occurring. “That was the year Cal was born.” “That year Claire got her first tooth.” “That is the year we moved away.” So many small factors that are easily forgotten.

Life goes by so quickly, and my babies won’t be babies forever.
